Preparation & Cooking Time: 10-15 minutes
Ingredients:
- 2 cloves of garlic, chopped
- 2 stalks of string onions, chopped
- 2 TBS cooking oil
- 2 TBS soya sauce
- 2 slices ginger chopped (optional)
- 1 TBS oatmeal ground into powder
- 1 cup water
- 1 tsp oyster sauce (optional)
- Pinch of salt & pepper
Directions:
1. Stir oatmeal powder into the cup of water and mix well.
1. Heat pan with cooking oil and fry the garlic.
2. Add spring onions.
3. Add oatmeal mixture, soya sauce and oyster sauce.
4. Test taste, and add of pinch salt & pepper if necessary.
5. Pour over cooked or steamed chicken, fish, meat or raw, cooked or steamed vegetables.

Additional Comments:
This is an easy and very delicious sauce that you can use to perk up any vegetable or meat or food that is too plain.
The oatmeal mixture helps to thicken the sauce and at the same time, is very healthy and nutritious.
