Bath-Tub Fun with Water Balloons

Age: From 4 years old

Objective: To have fun learning about floating and sinking

Materials:
1. 1 bath-tube
2. 5-6 balloons
3. Water

Directions:
1. Fill 5-6 balloons with different * amount of water from the tap, making sure that the opening of the balloon surround the tap tightly.

2. Then blow some of the balloons with different amount of air.

3. Talk about why some of the balloons float and some of the balloons sink. The ones with more fun float and the ones with more water sink.

* Have a balloon that is filled only with water, a balloon that is only filled with air, and some of the balloons in-between.

Daddy was reading Donald Duck magazine to J, and he saw this activity. He asked to do this activity and had a lot of fun learning about floating and sinking.
