Ingredients:
1. 60g cherry tomatoes
2. 1 TBS tomato puree
3. 1 TBS olive oil
4. 1 tsp honey
5. 1 clove garlic minced
6. A handful of basil leaves (optional)
7. Salt & pepper to taste
Directions:
1. Blend tomatoes, tomato puree and honey in a mini blender or mini food processor.
2. Add salt, pepper and olive oil a bit at a time and taste. Adjust accordingly.
Additional Information:
This is a homemade tomato sauce base for the pizza that C learned from the Meyer's Cooking Camp over the summer holidays. Today she taught me how to make it. It tasted very good :-)
