Dear J

Today, mommy would like to tell you about Germany.

This is the flag of Germany, the country which is a neighbour of Denmark. It is governed by the Head of State called Chancellor Angela Merkel.

The Germans did something remarkable for the refugees. They took the risk, showed compassion and opened up its door to the refugees, setting an example for the rest of us.
Many Germans welcomed the refugees at the train stations with banners, balloons, food and toys for the children.

Germany has a very robust economy, but no doubt, the road ahead for Germany will be challenging and not easy. Dear Joshua, let’s pray for Germany that God bless the country abundantly for the kindness she has shown on the refugees.

Hope your day in school is going great.

Love,
Mommy & Daddy
