Denmark National Museum/Nationalmuseet

Age: From 3 - 12 years old

Denmark is a very children friendly country and this is also reflected in their museums.

The Danish National Museum has a section for kids called Børnesmuseet - The Children's Museum -  and it is the most fantastic place! Here is a showcase of the Danish's approach to learning and childhood - The children get to learn about history and culture of the Danish civilization, as well as the immigrants' culture in Denmark, namely, Pakistan and Turkey. Kids can play their way through history at the Children's Museum. Here Amy was playing at the real life size exhibit complete with toy food!

The best thing is that it is totally free! A great place to bring overseas guest with children and a great time to kill time in door during winter, or when the weather is bad.
