Our Little FECS wanted to watch more videos. I said no, it is time he played with other toys. So he chose to play with LEGO Robotics, and this was the first time he succeeded in building everything on his own - the Monkey Robot and the program himself without help, as we were both busy preparing the nursery for the coming baby.
This is one of the reason why I do not fully subscribe to free play and free choice. Give the choice, he will choose to just watch video. Because we said no, he got to sit down and play with his toys.
