Objectives:
1. To provide a fun way to teach numbers, making full use of the children's energy at this age.
Materials:
1. Disposable Number Mats for numberal 1-5
2. Scotch tape the mat to the floor
Directions:
1. Demonstrate by hopping on the first number and say the number.
2. Go on to demonstrate the rest of the number in this way and finish one round.
3. Encourage the child to try.
Additional Information:
Joshua (2Y8M28D) tried this out today. He was thrilled with the hopping, but wasn't too keen to say the numbers.
