This is a super nice and cozy place with a fantastic nature playground equipped with a few bonfire pits and a shelter with tables and benches. It is a very inviting and has a fairytale like atmosphere. I really like this place. We passed by this place during the Scouts trip to Bøllemosen on 27 October 2024.
It is very accessible, just right outside Skodsborg station and there are parking along the road leading to the it. A walk to the beautiful nearby Bøllemosen lake is also highly recommended.
There are 3 picnic places there, but they can't be booked. There are two more picnic places 500m around Bøllemosen, and you are almost always able to find a place. There is unfortunately no toilets available. There is bonfire place where you can make snobrød (Danish twist bread).
You can't book the shelter and bonfire place here, but you can book the shelter at Bøllemosen as an alternative. It is also very popular and you have to book it long time in advance.
The metal grilling for BBQ is provided at the bonfire place.
