2. 200ml water
3. 12 pieces of gelatin sheets (called "husblas" in Danish)
4. 1 tsp vanilla powder
5. Matcha powder
6. Castor sugar to prevent sticking

1. Soak the husblas gelatin sheets for 10 minutes.

2. In a pot, add water and sugar and cook until all the sugar dissolved and reach a temperature of 118 degree celsius (use a food thermometer to measure).

4. Let cool, but not hardened, approx. 10 minutes.

5. Transfer to the electric mixer, add matcha powder and beat until it turned white.

6. Sprinkle a chopping board with castor sugar to prevent sticking, spread the mash-mellow mixture on it.

7. Sprinkle more matcha powder on it and cut into bite-size.

8. Lett cook for 3 hours.

Additional Information:

I didn't know that mash-mellows can be homemade, but Our Little FECS wanted to make them yesterday. We made raspberry and matcha marshmellows. It was the first time we made them. Daddy FECS gave the thumbs-up. He said that they are crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside :-) All ingredients can be bought from Netto supermarket. So we will say good-bye to store-bought marshmellows and make our own from now on...
