Objective(s): To teach number recognition and number sequencing concept in a fun way.
Materials:
1. Print 2-3 sheets this from http://www.veterantoget.dk/media/1611/opgave4x.jpg
2. Pencil
3. Eraser
Directions:
1. Demonstrate it on your sheet, saying, "Each dot represent one number. Let's try to connect the dots according from 1, 2, 3.... We start with 1. What comes next? Yes, 2. Can you find the number 2's dot?.What comes after 2?...
2. Invite your child to try on his own sheet. Mark his progress and try again on another fresh sheet if needed at another occasion.
Additional Information:
I am constantly interested in fun and varied way to teach numbers and Basic Maths. I happened to find this free resource from the Danish vintage train website. I think this may be too advance for Joshua right now, but he loves Thomas-the-Train. I will save it for future use.
