Strawberry Almond Smoothie

Serves 2

1. 3 large strawberries (This amount is perfect to give the strawberry flavour and also just 3 strawberries would cover all the daily vitamin C requirement. Do not add more strawberries, as it will dilute the taste and the richness of the smoothie)
2. 1/2 cup (50 g) chopped almonds
3. 1.5 cup fresh milk (For strawberry smoothie, I prefer the full fat version for the extra richness, but you can also use fresh skimmed milk)
4. 1/4 tsp vanilla powder (optional)
5. 1 tsp flax seeds ground (optional)
6. 3 dried dates pitted

Blend all ingredients in a blender until smooth.
