Progression of Teaching Mathematics to Toddlers and Preschoolers

Mathematics Curriculum (some based on my experience with Joshua):

Level 1 (1-1.5 year old): Sorting (according to colours, shapes, etc.), matching and simple geometrical wooden jigsaw puzzles

Level 2 (1.5 to 2 year old): Deciphering length and sizes, stacking, red rods

Level 3 (2 to 2.5 year old): Counting objects and tracing geomatry shapes with pencil

Level 4 (2.5 to 3 year old): Numeral recognition, tracing sandpaper

Level 5 (3 to 3.5 year old): Addition & Subtraction

Level 6 (3.5 to 4 year old): Writing numerals

Level 7 (?): Multiplication and division
