1. To train the child’s fine motor skills
2. To inculcate life skills
Materials:
1. 1 battery-toy with screwed compartment for battery
2. 1 screwdriver
3. 1 tray
Directions:
1. Find a battery-operated toy with screwed compartment for battery.
2. Use a screwdriver and demonstrate to your child how to unscrew the compartment.
3. Screw back the compartment.
4. Encourage your child to try.
Additional Information:
I have been thinking hard, how to make use of the tool box I bought for J. Then I thought of this idea. Find a battery-operated toy with screwed compartment for battery and make use of it to teach your child how to use the screwdriver. I think J is a little too young for this activity, but I am going to give it a try. If not, I will show this activity half a year from now.
