Montessori Activity: Exploring Small details in Nature with a Magnifying Glass
Age: From 2 years old
Material(s):
1. 1 Kid's friendly magnifying glass
2. 1 basket to collect findings
Directions:
1. Prepare the child by using the magnifying glass with a kid's encyclopedia book on insects or small animals or plants.
2. Go out to the nature with the magnifying glass.
3. Collect interesting things from nature such as pine cones, etc. to bring home and display it as part of the Nature's Museum in your home.
Warning:
Tell your child never look up the sun with a magnifying glass.
