How to Cook Pasta and Save Energy?

Adapted from Ruth Yaron's recipe

Serves 4

Ingredients:
- 250g wholegrain pasta
- Lots of water to cover the pasta

Directions:
1. In a pot*, bring water to a rapid boil, add pasta, cover pot with lid and turn off heat.

2. Let stand on the stove for 15 minutes or until cooked**.

* I am using the Danish design, Eva Trio pasta pot (http://www.evasolo.com/) - more convenient for steaming and cooking pasta, just remove the inner pot out to drain the water away. The inner pot can also serve as a steaming rack.

** If pasta sticks together, boil for 1 minute or two. You don't need to add olive oil.
