Montessori Activity: Arranging Letters Alphabetically with Lego

Age: From 3 years old

Objective(s): To teach the full alphabet in a fun way

Materials:
1. A container with Lego brick from a - z.
2. 1 Lego building plate
3. 1 tray

Directions:
1. Demonstrate once arranging the letters alphabetically on the Lego building plate.

2. Invite your child to try.

Tips:
1. Here is a variation to make it more fun: take a few letters out, and ask your child to fill in the missing letters.

Additional Information:
Joshua isn't too keen on letters, and I find going one letter at a time very tedious way to teach. I got this idea, and just have got to record it down, although I am very tired now. I am looking forward to trying it out with Joshua. I am not sure if he would take to it, but at least, I have enjoyed putting together this idea and activity. The Lego Letters Set is available from Amazon. It is unfortunately not cheap though:
