Rye Wholegrain Pasta/Rug Fuldkornspasta/丹麦黑麦面 [Dān mài hēi mài miàn]


Due to the increasing health consciousness of people, this is the latest product available in the Danish market. Rye is highly nutritious. It is a Danish brand organic product.

Preparation & Cook Time: 20 minutes

Ingredients:
- 250g rye wholegrain pasta
- 1 tsp olive oil (helps to prevent sticking)
- Sprinkle of salt (optional, skip this for babies)
- Water sufficient to cover the pasta

Directions:
1. Bring water to a rapid boil, then add olive oil and salt.

2. Add pasta, cover lid and turn off heat.

3. Let stand on the stove for 15 minutes or until cooked *.

* If pasta sticks together, boil for 1 minute or two.

Serving Ideas:
1. Eat it with the Mediterranean dressing.

2. Eat it with Tahini dressing.

2. Toss with Parmesan Cheese and/or some herbs

3. Or if you have no time, simply mix in a TBS of tahini, hazelnut butter or cashewnut butter and serve :-)

Nutritional Value:
Rye wholegrain pasta is rich in dietary fiber, vitamin E, calcium, iron, thiamin, phosphorus and potassium.
